Convention Mini Album

Attending convention is a wonderful experience. Meeting new people and sharing ideas is just too much fun. We also were able to participate in Make 'n Takes. Among the many we did was this darling little Mini Album. It will hold eight pictures, is really fast and simple and makes a wonderful gift. Last week at our club meeting we each made a mini album. For those who didn't get to come, here is a small tutorial on how to make these darling little albums

Supplies:

Stamp Sets: Eastern Blooms, Celebrate Everything
Cardstock and Paper: Very Vanilla Card Stock 2 7/8" x 3"
Love Notes II Tangerine Tango Cards and envelopes (2 each)
Ink: Stampin' Write Markers Old Olive, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip Classic Ink, Only Orange Classic Ink
Embellishments: Old Olive 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon 10"
Curly Label Punch
Spritzer Tool
Crop-A-Dile
Scoring Blade

Step 1: Seal one envelope and tuck flap inside second envelope

Step 2: Place sealed envelope right-side-up with the top of the envelope on your right. Ink up flower and branch from Easern Blooms Stamp Set with Really Rust on the flowers and Old Olive on the stems. "Huff" and stamp on the sealed envelope.

Step 3: Stamp "For You" from Celebrate Everything in the right top corner.

Step 4: Spritz front of sealed envelope using Really Rust Stampin' Write Marker and Spritzer Tool

Step 5: Score 3/8" from left edge of stamped envelope (bottom edge of envelope), folded edge of both Tangerine Tango Love Notes, and left edge of second envelope (bottom edge of envelope)with flap tucked in. Use bone folder to crease edges.

Step 6: Create your mini album by placing stamped envelope on top, two Tangerine Tango Love Notes in middle and other envelope, right side down on bottom. Punch 1/8" holes on left side for binding approximately 1/2" from top and bottom using your Crop-A-Dile. Thread Old Olive 1/4" grosgrain ribbon through holes and tie in a knot on top.

Step 7: Journal on 2 7/8" x 3" Very Vanilla card stock. Insert in back envelope.

Step 8: Add pictures and enjoy!!

Here are a couple more I made

Don't hesitate to leave a comment if you have any questions (or comments, of course). I will try to answer any questions you have!!

HINT: Did you know you can see the pictures better by clicking on them - they will open up bigger and are easier to see!!
