More Cards - Some Dahlias and Tart & Tangy

Last night everyone left me alone and I made some more cards. What fun!

Here's a couple more dahlia fold cards and then follows some I made with the new Tart & Tangy set from the 2008 Occasions Mini using the Summer Picnic Designer Paper. I'm in love - again!!!!

I punch out using the 1 1/4" circle punch some of the real red to highlight the cherries in the designer paper. Then doodled around the hole to make it stand out

I really love the new chocolate chip and old olive twill ribbon in the 2008 Occasions Mini. It's very fine - I was expecting it to be more coarse. Very nice addition to the ribbon collection

I used the Scallop Circle Punch for this Dahlia Fold!! Doesn't that make a neat variation?

Here's another NEW item in the 2008 Ocassions Mini - the Carousel Notes (page 7). These sell for $11.95 and include 12 cards in Groovy Guava, Soft Sky and Wild Wasabi and also 12 Chocolate Chip Envelopes. They measure approximately 6" in diameter. I had fun with these - I actually copied these almost exactly from someone on Splitcoast Stampers

Punches: 1/8" punch for the holes in the scallops. I used the piercer to pierce around the edge and cut out the flowers and mounted them with dimensionals

Happy St. Paddy's Day

I didn't have a lot of time this weekend as we celebrated my daughter's 30th birthday. But I had to make this little St. Paddy to wish all my friends "Good Luck" tomorrow - remember to wear green!!

This little guy is my Punchy Paddy!!
